Stein "Rosecco" Sparkling Rose of Pinot Noir 2025

Dr. Ulrich "Ulli" Stein has spent decades reclaiming impossibly steep, abandoned Mosel vineyard sites and fighting Germany's outdated 1971 wine law—by most accounts, winning both battles. Best known for searingly mineral, precise Riesling, he also makes this playful sparkling rosé, mostly Pinot Noir with small amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and occasionally Sangiovese, made via tank-method secondary fermentation.
Light, fizzy, and dry, it shows ripe strawberry and tart red fruit over a crisp, saline, mineral finish—that Mosel slate character coming through even in a fun, easy-drinking format.
Pop it as an aperitif or pair it with charcuterie and light bites.
