Michele Satta has been one of Bolgheri's most respected voices since long before "Super Tuscan" became a marketing term, farming with real attention to site rather than chasing trends. Costa di Giulia is his white blend—about 60% Vermentino and 40% Sauvignon Blanc, the latter partially fermented in barrel to add texture.
This shows Vermentino's characteristic saline freshness layered with Sauvignon's aromatic lift, rounded out by that touch of oak into something with real weight and complexity. It's coastal Tuscan white with more going on than most.
Pair it with grilled fish, seafood pasta, or simple roasted vegetables.
