Ferrari has been making traditional-method sparkling wine in Trento since 1902, and today it's the benchmark producer for Trentodoc—Italy's answer to Champagne, made from Chardonnay grown at altitude in the Dolomite foothills. The Lunelli family, who now own the estate, have pushed quality even higher over the past few decades.
This is Chardonnay-driven and alpine in character: green apple, citrus, and white flowers with fine bubbles and bright, mountain-fresh acidity. It's got real precision and a chalky mineral finish that reflects those high-altitude vineyards.
