Elk Cove is one of the Willamette Valley's founding estates, planted in 1974 when Oregon wine was still finding its way. Today, the second generation runs the estate, farming biodynamically and making wines that are precise, elegant, and expressive of their specific sites. Five Mountain sits in the Chehalem Mountains where volcanic soils and cool temperatures create Pinot with structure and minerality.

This shows classic Oregon Pinot character: red cherry, cranberry, forest floor, and crushed stone with bright acidity and silky tannins. There's a beautiful transparency here that lets the terroir shine through. It's got the depth to age but drinks gorgeously now.

Pair it with salmon, duck, or mushroom risotto. This is what the Willamette does best.
