"Vendangeur Masqué" (the masked harvester) is Alice and Olivier De Moor's label for wines made from sourced fruit or rented vines outside their own Chablis holdings, vinified in their Courgis cellar. Le Même Azimut comes from an Alsatian grower they've worked with for a decade, farmed organically and hand-harvested.

This is a field blend built for aromatics: 50% Riesling, 30% Gewürztraminer, 10% Muscat, and 10% Pinot Gris. The Riesling was destemmed while the other varieties were whole-cluster pressed, then everything fermented spontaneously with native yeasts and went through malolactic fermentation, aged on the fine lees in barrel without bâtonnage. Bottled unfiltered with just a touch of sulfur. Expect a perfumed, textural white with real aromatic lift from the Alsatian varieties, filtered through the De Moors' characteristically precise, hands-off winemaking.

Pair it with spiced or aromatic dishes—think Alsatian choucroute, Thai food, or soft washed-rind cheese.
