De Moor "Le Vendangeur Masque" Bourgogne Rouge 2024
Shipping calculated at checkout
The red counterpart to the De Moors' Vendangeur Masqué project, made from sourced fruit rather than their own Chablis vines. The 2024 comes from Mâconnais Pinot Noir, sourced from the same grower who supplies the Chardonnay for their Bourgogne Blanc—vinified, as always, in the De Moor cellar in Courgis.
This is 100% Pinot Noir made with whole clusters and a partly carbonic fermentation over two to three weeks, a technique that emphasizes bright fruit and freshness. Aged a year in used barrel and bottled unfiltered with a touch of sulfur. Production is tiny. Expect vivid red fruit and real energy—a natural, unfussy Pinot Noir made with the same precision the De Moors bring to their whites.
Pair it with roast chicken, charcuterie, or a simple mushroom dish.
Region: Vin de France (Mâconnais-sourced fruit)
Variety: 100% Pinot Noir
Winemaking: Whole-cluster, partial carbonic maceration, aged 1 year in used barrel
Explicitly delicious.
