Named after Nicola's father and uncle, this single-variety Malvasia is a love letter to one of Friuli's most expressive white grapes. Malvasia Istriana thrives in the Collio's mineral-rich soils, and in Nicola's hands, it becomes something profound.
This is Malvasia with complexity: white peach, acacia flowers, and Mediterranean herbs with this incredible textural richness from time on the lees. There's a hint of skin contact that adds grip and aromatics without tipping into orange wine territory. The finish is long, mineral, and mouthwatering.
Drink it with prosciutto di San Daniele, seafood risotto, or just on its own while contemplating the genius of Friuli.
