Big Table Farm is Clare Carver and Brian Marcy's project in the Willamette Valley, making wines that are energetic, pure, and distinctly Oregonian. Sunnyside Vineyard sits in the Eola-Amity Hills on volcanic soils that give Pinot Noir this incredible mineral backbone and bright acidity.
This is Oregon Pinot with tension and verve: cranberry, wild strawberry, forest floor, and crushed stone. They use a lot of whole-cluster fermentation to add aromatic complexity and structure, and the result is wine that's transparent, energetic, and built for the table. It's got the depth to age but drinks beautifully now.
Pair it with salmon, duck, or mushroom dishes. This is what the Willamette Valley does best.
