Alain Graillot is a legend in the Northern Rhône, making benchmark Crozes-Hermitage that proves this appellation can produce wines of real depth and complexity. While he's best known for his reds, his white Crozes is equally compelling—pure Marsanne from granite soils in the northern part of the appellation.
This shows everything Marsanne can be: white peach, honeysuckle, and almond with this incredible mineral tension and waxy texture. It's rich without being heavy, aromatic without being overt, and has the structure to age for 5-10 years while drinking beautifully now.
Pair it with roasted chicken, white fish in cream sauce, or hard Alpine cheeses. This is Northern Rhône white at its finest.
