The Hubert family settled at Château Peybonhomme-Les-Tours in the village of Cars near Blaye in 1895, and six generations have followed since.
The estate is located on a hill overlooking the estuary, with the vineyards on the slopes. From its 17th-century castellated tower, we have a spectacular panoramic view of the entire estate and the Gironde estuary.

Cuvée Majeurs constitutes the estate's flagship wine. It is produced from all biodynamic fruit, which is no small feat given the wet climactic conditions of Bordeaux. The blend is 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet-Franc, and 10% Malbec. This is a fruitier, fresher style of Bordeaux that is best consumed within 5 years, perhaps with a little chill to it on a patio.
