"The last of the winery's 2016 Chardonnays to be released, it's a stunner. The wine is a limpid gold color, and the aromatics of orange blossom, candlewax and crème caramel set you off on a lush exploration of a vivid, full-throttle explosion of flavor. White peach, crisp apple and green pineapple fruit is nicely matched to toasty oak. The finish extends for a full minute or longer. This may well be the best Chardonnay at this price in the state. 93 pts." -- Wine Enthusiast
We couldn't agree more. Owner Ted Casteel is a rockstar in Willamette Valley, and this might be our favorite Chardonnay from the valley. The Bethel Heights estate chardonnay vines were planted in 1971 on their own rootstock.
