If you've seen Sideways, you know the Hitching Post. What you might not know is that winemaker Frank Ostini has been making killer Central Coast Pinot Noir since the 1980s, long before the movie made Santa Barbara Pinot famous. He sources fruit from cooler sites across the county, focusing on that coastal influence that gives these wines their characteristic brightness and spice.

The Highliner is their regional bottling—a blend of sites that captures what makes Santa Barbara Pinot special without breaking the bank. Think red cherry, cranberry, and wild herbs with this beautiful earthy complexity and silky texture. It's got enough structure to age a few years but drinks beautifully now with a slight chill.

Pair it with grilled salmon, duck breast, or mushroom risotto. Or just drink it while watching Sideways again.
