From one of Spain’s last undiscovered regions, Celler Piñol is a fourth‑generation family estate producing organic wines that preserve Terra Alta’s rare native grapes.
Celler Piñol comes from Terra Alta, one of Spain’s last true undiscovered wine regions. Bordering Priorat but with its own identity, Terra Alta is known for altitude, limestone soils, cold winds & extraordinary old‑vine Garnacha. This is a “drink it before everyone knows” region & Piñol is one of the pioneers who put it on the map.
Four Generations, One Estate, One Vision
Four generations have made wine on the same land
The 100+ year‑old patriarch still tastes every vintage
The current generation blends tradition with modern expertise
Every bottle is personal, not corporate
Organic Before It Was Trendy
Dry‑farmed, head‑pruned vines
No chemical herbicides or pesticides
Extremely low sulfur levels (far below organic standards)
Guardians of Indigenous Grapes
Garnacha Blanca (where the grape was first born)
Morenillo, a near‑extinct native grape revived by the Piñol family
One of the only monovarietal bottlings of Morenillo in the world (just ~3,000 bottles)
