Laurent-Perrier’s Cuvée Rosé is the rosé Champagne by which all other rosé Champagne should be measured. Fresh and tangly raspberries with a soft, supple finish and lots of structure make this a Champagne that can easily accompany anything from smoked salmon to grilled ribeye steak.

Laurent-Perrier was created through the incredible vision of Marie-Louise de Nonancourt. Marie-Louise was born into the Lanson family of Champagne negociants in 1891. Widowed shortly after WWI, she raised four children during the hardships of WWII. In 1939 she invested all of her savings into purchasing a small Champagne estate for her children. One of her sons tragically perished in a concentration camp during the war, while her youngest son Bernard was amongst the soldiers who opened Hitler's secret wine cave and freed many prized bottles of the finest French wines. After the war was over, Bernard took over the estate of Laurent-Perrier, honoring his mother's vision, and turned Laurent-Perrier into one of the most respected Champagne houses today. In 2010, Bernard de Nonancourt passed away and today the estate is ably run by his two daughters Alexandra Pereyre de Nonancourt and Stéphanie Meneux de Nonancourt. We had the great pleasure of meeting Lucie Pereyre de Nonancourt, assistant winemaker of Laurent-Perrier and daughter of Alexandra Pereyre de Nonancourt, just prior to the COVID shutdowns and were awe-inspired by the depth and breadth of the entire range of wines. We believe that the new generation of Nonancourt women are bearing the torch of Marie-Louise and Bernard proudly and taking Champagne Laurent-Perrier into the new century in style.
