Le Petit Haut Lafitte is the second wine of Smith Haut Lafitte, famed producer in the Pessac-Leognan region of Bordeaux. Made from 90% Sauvignon Blanc, 5% Sauvignon Gris, and 5% Semillon, it was fermented in 50% new French oak barrels.
This is classic white Bordeaux. Aromatic and intense aromas of baked apple, quince and beeswax. Flavors of ripe orange with wild honey, palate is crisp with citrus and a tart, fresh finish.
