Winemaker Roberto Olivan is one of the most exciting new winemakers in the region of Rioja. Focusing on 22 parcels of old vines (up to 110 years old), Roberto is a meticulous farmer who works organically, and uses minimal intervention in the winery. Tentenublo is his most popular wine, and is named after a local Rioja tradition where church bells are wrung to ward off hail. It is bright, fresh, and juicy and would be delicious with just a slight chill.
