Grand-Puy-Ducasse is a Fifth Growth in the 1855 Classification, but don't let that fool you—this is serious Pauillac from prime Left Bank terroir. Their vineyards sit on deep gravel soils near Château Lynch-Bages and Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste, producing Cabernet-dominant wines with power, structure, and aging potential.

The 2016 vintage is considered one of the great modern Bordeaux vintages—structured, elegant, built to age. This shows classic Pauillac: blackcurrant, graphite, cedar, and tobacco with firm tannins and incredible length. It's got the concentration and structure to cellar for decades but is starting to show beautifully now if you decant it generously.

Pair it with roasted lamb, aged beef, or hard cheeses. This is what Pauillac is all about.
