Sparkling Tea is a brand-new beverage category. The combination of Nordic innovation and Asian tea traditions, has resulted in an organic low-/non-alcoholic sparkling drink based on the careful selection of exclusive tea sorts.
Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company was founded in 2017 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and introduced to the market in May the same year, by the award-winning sommelier, Jacob Kocemba, and his business partner, Bo Sten Hansen. They still hand-brew every batch themselves, as this is a labor of love, as much as it is one of precision.
Sparkling Tea GRØN has clear aromas of lemongrass and citrus. The fresh characteristics are also significant in the taste, where they are joined by notes of green apples and a hint of ginger. This creates a mineral and crisp experience, which ends in a balanced bittersweet finish. The color is light with green nuances.
GRØN is great as a fresh aperitif. Alternatively, pair it with dishes from the Asian cuisine, such as Thai food or sushi, or with more fresh desserts.
