Los Chuchaquis is the experimental bottling label for winemaker Ryan Stirm. The wne is a blend of 82% Sangiovese, with 6% each of Zinfandel, Cabernet Pfeffer, and Albarino. The fruit is sourced from several top tier vineyards along the California's central coast including the C5 Vineyard in Santa Ynez, The Wirz Vineyard in Cienega Valley, and the Siletto Vineyard also in San Benito County. The Sangiovese was fermented carbonic in stainless steel and the wine was aged for nine months in used neutral oak. These are the kind of wines we like to drink cold on a hot day with anything from a burger to bbq shrimp. The result is a super light colored, chuggable fresh red that will double as a tannic rose. 204 cases produced.
