Evening Land Vineyards is a collaboration between sommelier Raj Parr and winemaker Sashi Moorman. They use the label to explore extreme cool climate sites on the west coast of the United States, and their Oregon endeavors center on the illustrious Seven Springs Vineyard, which they recently obtained control over.
de Mures is a special bottling created as a result of the 2020 vintage and the ruinous wildfires that affected many grapes with smokey taint. Because smoke taint affects the skins of grapes, the wine was produced with a very short amount of skin contact which resulted in this juicy, fun wine that drinks like something between a rosé and a Pinot Noir. It does not taste smokey, but served with a chill will be delicious at your next barbecue!
